STSU Union Leadership Structure
The Scoot Staff Union (STSU) operates with a two-tiered leadership structure:
- Branch Committees
- Executive Committee (Exco)
Branch Committee
Union members elect branch delegates who form the three branches of STSU:
- Pilot Branch
- Cabin Crew Branch
- Ground Branch
Branches committees are formed to:
- Address grievances through negotiations with company management
- Facilitating communication between members and union headquarters
Exco Level
The Exco, elected by branch delegates at the Convention of Delegates, oversees the union's overall operations. Key appointments within the Exco include:
- President
- General-Secretary
- General Treasurer
The Exco also establishes specialised committees to manage various aspects of union activities. This structure ensures comprehensive representation and effective management of union affairs at both local and organisational levels.
