Pre-planning your CCL requirements as part of the Annual Leave Exercise is a compromise between your entitlement of Child Care Leave and the Needs of the company’s Operational Requirements.
STSU recognises that whilst it is challenging for members to forecast CCL needs. STSU will continue to work with MOM and the company to better operationalise this policy to achieve its original intent taking into consideration the company’s operational needs.
Company has assured STSU that should members run out CCL / FCL / AL, they may contact their department management / HR to make the necessary arrangements to either re-arrange their available leave or bring forward the following year’s leave entitlement. STSU and the company stand in support of our members in their time of need.
