The company is required to provide a minimum of 10 hours notice for a duty change. (i.e 10 hours from notice to reporting time).
The company is allowed to change your COP immediately post sign on to cater for operational needs.
If the duty change is undesirable due to inadequate preparation (packed for summer layover but assigned a winter location) or impacts your personal plans (based on original published roster), you may contact the duty pilot to seek alternative arrangements where applicable. If you feel otherwise, you may reach out to your Union reps.
You are not allowed to reject a duty change as long as a 10 hour heads up is provided prior to sign on and/or a duty change is made after a sign on.
A flight crew may swap any number of duties with another crew as long as the ANR rules are adhered to.
