Pre-planning your CCL requirements as part of the Annual Leave Exercise is a compromise between your entitlement of Child Care Leave and the company’s Operational Needs.
STSU recognises that it is challenging for members to forecast CCL needs and will continue to work with MOM and the company to better operationalise this policy to achieve the original intent.
Company has assured STSU that should members run out of CCL / FCL / AL, they may contact their department management / HR to make the necessary arrangements to either re-arrange their available leave or bring forward the following year’s leave entitlement.
STSU (together with the company) will support our members in their time of need.
